The Peepal tree is native to India and sacred to those of Buddhist faith. The Peepal tree, Ficus religiosa, also has a name as “Bodhi Tree”, is a deciduous tree that is native to India. This tree is sacred to those of the Buddhist faith, as it is believed to be the personification of Buddha.
Peepal tree leaves contain Glucose, Asteriod and Mennos, Phenolic while its bark is rich in Vitamin K, tainen and Phaetosteroline. All these ingredients make the Peepal tree an exceptional medicinal tree.
